PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY
Consultation & Project Fees
Consultation Fee (Heritage Designs):
A non-refundable $75 consultation fee is required for all Kinstructure Consulting appointments. This fee secures your time slot and will be credited toward your final project cost if you proceed within 30 days of your consultation.
Project Deposits (KinStory & Heritage Designs):
KinStory Memorial Genealogy and Kinstructure Heritage Designs require a 50% deposit to begin work. The remaining balance is due upon project completion and final delivery.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
- 48 hours or more notice: Reschedule or cancel your consultation to retain your fee as a credit toward future services
- Less than 24 hours notice or no-show: Consultation fee is forfeited
- Project deposits: Non-refundable once work has begun

How long does each service take?
- KinStory: 5-10 business days (3-5 days for premium/rush)
- Heritage Designs: 10-14 business days (7 days with rush fee)
- Consulting: Flexible scheduling based on project scope
What if I need revisions? Each package includes a set number of revisions. Additional revisions available for a nominal fee.
Can I upgrade my package after starting? Yes! Contact us to discuss upgrading your service at any time.

Do you provide genealogical research?
Heritage Designs: Yes, on two levels. If you already have your research, we transform it into a custom visual design. If you do not, we offer basic genealogical research to help build your tree, starting with a Heritage Discovery Session where we talk through what you know and map where the records can take you. Basic research is scoped to what you are able to invest, so families at any starting point can move forward.
